Of an average cask age of ten years, it is a young port of russet color with brilliant crimson highlights and a fragrant, ripe-fruit bouquet. Its smooth, silky texture and subtle oak nuances are balanced by a fresh acidity and tannic ‘grip’ that culminate in a long, elegant finish.

 


     

20 Year Old Tawny

Of an average cask age of twenty years, it is a mature wine of deep amber color with russet highlights. The bouquet’s complex marriage of ripe, plummy fruit, warm cinnamon and butterscotch notes and subtle oak nuances are confirmed on the palate, which is full and voluminous, with a velvety texture carrying into a long, elegant finish.

 

 

 
     

40 Year Old Tawny

This sublime port of very great age and rarity shows the old olive-gold hue of its many years in cask. Decades of evaporation have concentrated this extraordinary wine to an exceptional density. Impressions of clove, nutmeg and an intense nuttiness converge both on the bouquet and palate. The wine's lush, almost viscous texture culminate in a finish of incredible length.
