Fonseca, which this year celebrates its bicentennial, participated in the XXXII Regatta of Rabelo Boats, an event organized by the Confraria do Vinho do Porto, finishing in 2nd place.

The departure was made near the mouth of the Douro River at 17:00 and ended before the D Luís bridge. Fonseca's boat, the Panascal, displayed a sail commemorating the two hundred years of family tradition and success that the House celebrates. Fourteen boats participated in the regatta.
